This painting is a kind of jam of ideas,

I tend to paint from my imagination and go with where the picture takes me,  you start to develop a look and style once the works been started, I keep working on the picture till it feels like it's reached its natural conclusion.

Before lockdown I was regularly attending life drawing classes and I was drawing a model for a several weeks in a row, she had similar features to the character in the painting, so maybe this was transferred over to the final work.
