Fizzled is an exhibition about an inherited car, a 1993 Fiat Panda Fizz. The exhibition explores the notion of the journey, touching on themes relating to landscape, human encounters and the well trodden photographic road trip.

Covering a range of media including; books, prints and sculptures, Fizzled guides us through the landscapes travelled, reflecting on the materiality of the vehicle after the journey is over.

Fizzled is an exhibition about the experience of exploration, freedom and letting go of a sentimental object. What lies beyond the end of the road?

Tom Shipman is a mixed media artist who graduated with a Photography degree from LCC, University of the Arts, living and working in London.
