Bob Stone.

Bob Stone has maintained his studio practice both in SE London and Languedoc for the last 43 years. He has worked as a Senior Lecturer and Programme Co_ordinator on the MA in Fine Art  for 18 years at Canterbury Christ Church University and at various Art Schools in South East London and Yorkshire.

His work is concerned with the importance of sensory perception expressed through a physical response within the handling of paint. Principally the work involves landscape and figures that are either created en plein aire or reconfigured in the studio. 

The Thames Barrier has become a source of inspiration.
